Cyprus Hotels
There’s an excellent choice of hotels in Cyprus, from small bed and breakfast establishments through to five star luxury – and here we review some which might be suitable for holidays in Cyprus

An alternative to hotels is to have villa holidays, and there are plenty of companies who offer Cyprus villa holidays - sometimes it can work out around the same cost as a traditional hotel holiday.

Here we review some of the hotels in Cyprus:

Corallia Beach, Coral Bay

Coral Bay is well known as a family area for holidays on the island, and the Corallia Beach does get some good reviews from past guests who rate the hotel as family friendly.

It’s well located for the beach, and the apartment sizes are good too, making this one of the hotels in Cyprus worth considering.

The downside to the Corallia is that it’s fifteen minutes from the central part of Coral Bay, but there are bus services that run every quarter of an hour or so, and also a bus service that runs to Pahos, if you haven’t hired a car.

Overall people who have stayed at this hotel seem to praise it, and it could be worth considering adding to any shortlist of possible hotels in Cyprus to stay at.

Apollonia Beach Hotel Limassol

The Apollonia seems to be a favourite for Thomson Holidays judging by their review, and perhaps for good reason.

Ratings are high for the standards of accommodation, meals and staff helpfulness – all three important to ensure a stay at this hotel in Cyprus is a good one.

The beach is just moments away, and tennis, squash and swimming pools are available.

Some comments from previous guests seem to indicate that while this is perhaps one of the best hotels in Cyprus, the surrounding area is a bit downmarket, but the restaurants are good and sometimes better than what the Apollonia was offering.

Overall it seems a bit hit and miss whether this is a top quality hotel depending upon what you want from a hotel, but could be viewed as 3 or 4 star, not really 5.

Pioneer Beach Hotel Paphos

A popular area for holidays, but how good are the Cyprus hotels in Cyprus in Paphos?

The Pioneer Beach is for adults only and just yards away from the beach, so for location it’s good, and perhaps suitable for those travelling without children.

Facilities include a swimming pool, tennis, bowls and a health club.

If you’re after more than just a good hotel and the weather in Cyprus Paphos and its amenities, shops and restaurants are walking distance.

Overall the Pioneer Beach comes pretty well recommended from quite a few previous guests, and if you’re looking for Cyprus hotels without children it could be worth shortlisting.

Bella Napa Hotel Ayia Napa

Ayia Napa has the reputation as being party town and when some holidaymakers look at the Cyprus map will avoid Ayia Napa– but if you want to visit the island and stay there could this be a good choice when trying to find good hotels in Cyprus?

The Bella Napa certainly has a good location, just quarter of an hour’s walk to the town centre and right next to the sea – worth asking for a sea view when booking. And there’s a good pool, tennis, etc. and with a children’s part of the pool they cater for families so it’s not geared exclusively to clubbers.

Previous guests state that the hotel is pretty good, 3 star level, but the staff can sometimes be found wanting.
